To my dear Sathi teacher

It was the final exams for 7th grade. He has to move to a new school for next grades & getting a good grade is really important. Or else the admission in new school won't happen. He never understood adjectives, nouns, multiplication, history etc. He was good at sports & crafts. Everything was seen onerous for him. Getting punished, to stand outside the class or in front of the complete school as a punishment in the assembly was common. It was never learning, it was a nightmare for him.
Agony in everything, when put to the test!

It was during that final exam his father realized that his kid doesn't have any understanding of what so ever required for passing the final exams for 7th grade. His father was worried as this kid needs to get admission in a new school. His father got him to a strong regiment; made him rewrite the complete class notes just couple of days before exams, made him repeat things as much as he can, forced him to learn..learn...learn! It was getting really crazy hard for him to endure this, the pain was inimitable!

But dreams about post-exam holiday season & sports made him endure all this. Coming days of cricket, badminton, football, golf (tailored to be played at our home), matchbox cover, soda-marble, darts etc. he just wanted to let days pass by. Somehow he was blessed to realize that days pass by & things will be different. Exam weeks passed by, he cleared all subjects. Credits to his father!

He gave interview exams for all nearby new schools, but as expected out of him he never cleared those. Finally, his father got him an admission in a school nearby.

But never did he knew what was coming. This is when he met his life long friend who taught him how to learn! A compassionate friend which is what god gifted him.

God was merciful & he got another gift for him. He met Sathi teacher, who taught this kid maths & instilled confidence in this kid. It was so fascinating when Sathi teacher asks trigonometry & any mistake we make she adorably throws a small bit of chalk at him!
She made him realize that he has the skill & all it takes is making it more fun. She literally made it fun & learning wasn't that tough for him anymore!

Years of tutorship & friendship changed this kid & made him confident!

I dedicate this story to you My Dear Sathi teacher! I'm blessed to have you as my teacher, words falling short!
